I am very intersted on the 3D slicer programme and as I am MRI technologist and PhD student I am keen to learn more about it currently I am doing studies on volume measurement using this programme. The question do you do any courses in UK or EU I am studying in Exeter university UK.

  2. Sandy McKenzie says:

Yes, we have courses in Europe! The list of upcoming courses is available at https://training.kitware.fr/browse. It includes a course on 3D Slicer in March.

  3. SARV PRIYA says:

I am a radiologist and working on segmentation of heart for congenital heart disease. Is this course only for developers or end users like me who have no background in biomedical engineering but are interested in further enhancing the skills. Pls let me know as I am very interested to attend if this would be like a hands on training course.

  4. Brad Davis says:

    Sarv Priya,

Yes. The course is designed for clinical researchers and technologists with a biomedical imaging background who are interested in learning to use and develop solutions using VTK, ParaView, ITK and 3D Slicer.

However, the course is already FULL with the overwhelming interest we received from the community. But, we are encouraging everyone to still register and we will add you to the waiting list as we expect a few registered folks to drop out in the last minute. We will let you know if a spot is made available for you to attend. Otherwise, please keep an eye on our blogs and event announcements for future courses offered by Kitware.
