Yesterday, Chintan Patel, the senior product marketing manager at NVIDIA’s Tesla business unit, discussed an opportunity to get to know ParaView in “ParaView Users – Bring Your Data to GTC, Gather Insights Like Never Before.” As he details in the post, this year’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC 2017) will feature a lab titled “Interactive HPC Volume Visualization in ParaView.” Attendees of the lab will learn about NVIDIA IndeX, a plug-in for ParaView that NVIDIA created to increase the speed at which users can analyze and visualize scientific results. While the lab will have example data, attendees can bring their own to explore.
Robert Maynard will join Patel at the lab. Maynard will also take part in “Build Systems: Combining CUDA and Modern CMake” at the conference, which will take place from May 8 to May 11, 2017, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
In addition to the “Interactive HPC Volume Visualization in ParaView” lab, ParaView will part of “HPC Visualization in Virtual Reality.” This conference activity is a “Connect with the Experts” session. It will occur on May 9, 2017. During the session, NVIDIA will overview a ParaView plug-in for virtual reality. For more information, please see the Kitware GTC 2017 event listing.
