Kitware’s Brad Davis is awarded the Marr Prize

The Marr prize is one of the highest recognitions in the field of image analysis/computer vision. The Marr Prize is awarded to the best paper at the IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV). The award winning paper at the 2007 ICCV conference was authored by Kitware’s Brad Davis:

  • Bradley Davis, P. Thomas Fletcher, Elizabeth Bullitt, Sarang Joshi: Population Shape Regression From Random Design Data

Co-authors were Tom Fletcher and Saranh Joshi of The University of Utah and Elizabeth Bullitt of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The underlying research was part of Brad’s work as a Ph.D. student at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
