VolView 1.3 Released
Kitware announced today the release of VolView 1.3, a powerful volume rendering system that enables researchers to visualize data from a variety of imaging modalities including CT, MRI, and confocal microscopy. VolView is designed for ease of use, performance, and flexibility at a modest entry price.
New features available in VolView 1.3 include:
- More data formats including jpeg, png, GE Signa
- Integrated iso-contours in 2D and 3D
- Surface area and volume measurements
- Support for the VolumePro 1000
- Volume filtering including median, threshold, and smoothing
- Save volumes and surfaces
- Application settings saved across sessions
- Improved lightbox with more layout options
- Perspective rendering
